Ideas of places to find books:
Home
First search through your bookshelves. I was surprised at how many Christmas books we had! We had some I had even forgotten about! If you're a book hoarder like me, you may be able to complete this calendar using books you already have.

The local library:
If you plan to check out some books, I would recommend putting them towards the beginning of your calendar so you don't end up with overdue fines. 😉😉
Thrift Stores:
Thrift and second-hand stores have so many great options at great prices!
Buy New Books:
I know this one seems pretty obvious but if you are searching ahead of time you can find some great sales! Black Friday and after the Christmas season for the following year are great times to look!
I searched Amazon. I make Amazon a last resort when shopping but they have such a great selection of books! I wanted to get some books with my kid's favorite characters and series they enjoy. I created a list with some of the books I used and ones with positive messages or loved characters!
After I found all of my books, I started wrapping! I did mark a few that I would want the kids to open on a specific day. For example, I marked The Night Before Christmas for the 24th of December. I also marked a few of the books I knew my kids would really like so we could read them a little more.
Label any books that you want to be opened on specific days. I covered the labels with my printable tags (below) |
Display & Store the Books:
Finally, I ordered a simple bookshelf on Amazon to add the books to. It's one that I had been looking at for a while and I liked how it would display them. I plan to use it in my kids' playroom after this too. If you don't want to do this, you can always use a crate or box.
I'm looking forward to starting this new tradition! Do you do a book advent calendar? Tell me about it or some of your favorite books in the comments!
Book reading is an effective activity for students but at the same time it requires a lot of time to do it. We all know that students don't get that much time from their daily routine to do so. Therefore, using essay writing services Dubai will be the best option for them as professionals will provide valuable assistance in completing all the pending activities within the time limit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea to make the holiday season special with free book advent calendar tags! It's such a creative way to inspire a love for reading while building excitement each day leading up to Christmas. For those looking to incorporate a similar sense of structure and creativity in academic projects, a literature review writer can provide valuable support. Just like these tags bring joy and order to the holidays, a well-organized literature review brings clarity and depth to research. Both ideas showcase the magic of thoughtful preparation and attention to detail!
ReplyDeleteRecently I found a great service that helps with writing essays on nursing. They offer nursing essay writing and can do the job even with a short deadline. Experienced specialists with medical education work there, so the quality is high.
