Lesson Planning Freebie

Hi friends! Hope your school year is off to a great start! This year I promised myself that I would make the most of my planning time. With a new baby, I can't spend as much time at school as I used to. That means I really need to try to get everything done during my planning. My planning is at the end of the day when the kids are at specials. I spend part of the time planning and the other part setting up a few things for the next day. To make things easier, I established a routine where I do part of my plans everyday and I set up for the next day right before I leave.

To stay on track, I created a to do list where I have these things already added along with some extra space for things that come up. So far, this has been a great tool and I wanted to share it with you!

Affiliate links allow me to keep blogging and providing more freebies to you! :) You can read more about this at the bottom of my post!

To edit this document you will need to:

Open up the document (linked at the bottom of this post) in PowerPoint. Click in the text box.

If you want to make it a bulleted list, like mine, you will need to go to the top and select the bullet points you want. I like to use the square ones because I can check things off! If you want to leave some blank spaces to write extra things in you will need to type a space then hit the enter/return button on your computer to get just a bullet point.

Once you have done the steps above, you are ready to add your list! Just type it into the document.

Once your list is ready to go, print it out! I printed mine on different colored paper. I used Astrobrights!

After you print your lists, you are going to want to laminate the pages! I definitely recommend laminating it so you can use a dry erase marker to check things off and add things as needed.

If you don't have a personal laminator, I would definitely recommend one! I love mine and I couldn't resist buying this pink one, above!  Get my favorite PINK laminator here! #allthehearteyes

Once you have laminated your pages, use a hole punch to put a hole in the top corners. Then, attach the pages with a binder ring.

I like to hang mine on the bulletin board next to my desk so it's right there when I need it!

  1. Thank you so much for this freebie! I love it! Would you be willing to share with me the font you used to write the days of the week? I want to add another one that says "Everyday" for all of the things I have to do every morning. Again, thank you SO much!
